Last Updated: 5 August 2026

Section 01

Introduction

Welcome to Webrental.

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of websites and related services provided by Webrental.

By signing up for our services or making payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Section 02

Our Service

Webrental provides a managed website rental service.

The monthly subscription includes:

  • Professional website design
  • Website hosting
  • Domain management
  • SSL certificate
  • Business email hosting (where included)
  • Basic website maintenance
  • Minor content updates
  • Technical support relating to the hosted website

Unless otherwise agreed, websites remain under Webrental's management throughout the duration of the subscription.

Section 03

Website Design & Development

Website design begins once Webrental has accepted the customer's application, received all required business information, content, images and requirements, and received the customer's first pro-rata payment. Webrental will design the website based on the information and materials provided by the customer. The first website preview will typically be prepared within 48 hours of receiving all required information and content and confirming payment. The customer will have the opportunity to review the website and request reasonable content, image and layout changes before approval. Once the customer has approved the website, Webrental will proceed with the final setup and launch of the website. This includes registering the customer's .co.za domain, setting up the customer's professional business email services and completing the website for publication. The Webrental service is provided at R199 per month, with the first payment calculated on a pro-rata basis from the date the subscription is activated. All subsequent monthly payments are payable by direct EFT in accordance with the customer's subscription terms. Website design, development and reasonable content, image and layout revisions are included as part of the Webrental service, subject to the limitations and conditions outlined in these Terms & Conditions. Webrental reserves the right to decline or discontinue an application or project where the requested content, functionality or services fall outside the scope of the Webrental service, or where the project involves unlawful, inappropriate or prohibited material.

Section 04

Acceptance of Website

The website is considered accepted when:

  • The client confirms approval on Whatsapp or email

Section 05

Monthly Subscription

The service is billed at:

R199 per month

Subscriptions are billed monthly through EFT transfers.

The customer authorises recurring monthly payments using the payment method supplied during checkout.

Recurring billing continues until cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

Section 06

Payment Terms

Payment is due on or before the last day of each calendar month. All monthly payments must be made by direct EFT using the banking details provided by Webrental.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the monthly payment is made on time.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the customer's website, domain and associated services being suspended until the outstanding amount has been received.

Non-payment does not automatically cancel the customer's subscription or any outstanding payment obligations.

Section 07

Failed Payments

If a scheduled payment fails:

  • Website services may be suspended.
  • Business email services may stop functioning.
  • Website visitors may no longer be able to access the website.

To restore services:

  • Outstanding subscription amount must be paid.

If payment is not received within 3 calendar days after the due date:

  • Website services may be permanently suspended.
  • Business email services may be removed.
  • Domain services may be disconnected.
  • Website data may be deleted.

Restoration after permanent suspension is not guaranteed.

Section 08

Domain Names

Where Webrental registers a domain on behalf of the customer:

Domains may be released if the subscription is cancelled or remains unpaid.

Webrental cannot guarantee the availability of previously registered domains once released.

Section 09
